I never mentioned it before on here... however, I had surgery on Thursday... to had a tumor removed from my neck. Its been an interesting ride.... After the 911 call yesterday evening, its been interesting.. All is well however. Been getting caught up on my TV shows, and working on creating some MP3 mix cds to listen to in my car. Should be an interesting weekend.
My mother drew a distinction between achievement and success. She said that 'achievement is the knowledge that you have studied and worked hard and done the best that is in you. Success is being praised by others, and that's nice, too, but not as important or satisfying. Always aim for achievement and forget about success.
